Getting To & Around The Maine Beaches!

Located just one hour north of Boston and one hour south of Portland (an easy drive from each!), the Maine Beaches are readily accessible from Logan International Airport, the Portland International Jetport and Manchester/Boston Airport. Additionally the region is within a half hour's drive time from the smaller Pease International Airport and Sanford Seacoast Regional Airport.
The Maine Beaches also has three stops on the Amtrak Downeaster, which currently runs from Boston to Portland multiple times daily, and in the near future will travel as far north as Freeport. If you are coming from the Boston area and haven't had a chance to travel this way by train, it's an experience you don't want to miss!

While you can always travel the area by car, you can also leave the keys at home and opt for one of our seasonal trolley systems: York, Ogunquit or the Shoreline Explorer. Or choose from one of our sightseeing tours provided by Atlas Aero, Intown Trolley Sightseeing Tours or Wicked Good Tours.

However you get here and however you get around, you are sure to be thrilled that you did!
