Square Lake and Mousam Lake in the towns of Shapleigh and Acton are top spots for giant brown trout. These waters produce 10-plus-pound browns most years and Square occasionally yields 20-plus!  You’ll also find large mouth and small mouth bass as well as land locked salmon in these waters. 

In the Atlantic waters off the coast you’ll be reeling in cod, haddock, pollock, cusk, and hake.  Go a little further out and test your skills against blue fin tuna and shark!
