The Maine Beaches is the place for your fall foliage day trip.  Autumn in the region is the ideal blend of nautical and woodsy visual delights.   Crisp cool nights give way to deep blue skies and comfortable temperatures perfect for walking, biking or cruising (with the top down, of course!) one of our scenic byways.

You might consider planning your visit to coincide with one of our fall events like Harvestfest in York (October 15^th & 16^th) or Ogunquitfest (October 21^st-23^rd), both quintessential New England harvest celebrations with plenty of food, entertainment and fun for children of all ages.

The only thing better than spending a day in the Maine Beaches region is an overnight or weekend getaway!  Fall provides many opportunities for finding that perfect hotel or bed and breakfast at unbelievably low off season rates.
